Sunday School is the primary avenue where people of all ages can learn and grow spiritually. Being involved in a Sunday School class also provides the benefits of support from and fellowship with other believers. Back to top In Psalms 29:2 (NIV) the Bible says, "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness." Although true worship has nothing to do with a particular style and is rather a matter of the heart, at Point Township Church you will find a traditional worship style, including special singing and preaching of the Word of God. On Wednesday evenings, you will be uplifted by hearing how God has met the needs of the congregation. It is truly a blessing to learn how God is moving in the daily lives of those who trust in Him. Each week the Pastor or Associate Pastor will share a Bible study that God has laid on his heart. Back to top Children's Church During Sunday morning worship, children ages 4-11 can attend Children's Church. They will participate in singing, crafts, and a weekly Bible lesson. On the first Sunday of the month, children remain in the sanctuary. Special Services Nazarene Missions International: One Sunday night of each month is the NMI service. NMI President, Bethany Burnett, leads the service and shares with us current happenings on the Nazarene mission field and how we as a local congregation can be involved. NYI Service: One Sunday each month, the NYI group will lead the service. Monthly Gospel Sing: On the last Sunday of each month, we have a gospel singing. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Nursery The nursery is staffed during the Sunday morning worship service and is available for use during other worship services. |
